European youth congress
|
- The first day of the congress focuses on the
challenges of volunteering: engaging
volunteers, professionalisation of the voluntary sector, legal and regulatory
framework, risk of instrumentalisation of the voluntary sector, safeguarding,
... For this day we will invite policy
makers to share their opinions directly with the participants. The methods we will use for these sessions
are presentations, plenary and group discussions.
- The second day focuses on the European opportunities
which exist in the field of volunteering: recognition of NFE, increased
employability, funding programmes, providing adequate training to volunteers
... These sessions will be more active
than those of the first day, focussing on delivering practical tools and
methods which the participants can use in their voluntary work.
- During the evenings we have informal activities
which contribute to the learning process: on Friday we’ll have an
intercultural evening. On Saturday we make a trip to Krakow for a guided
tour.
- The coordinating team will make an evaluation of the
meeting and send a press release to all promoters which they can use to
promote this activity in local media.
