Giving: free time, knowledge, skills, energy, ideas, friendship, relationship, what I know, what I can do, I can hand on opinions and as a volunteer I can be example for the other people.

Receiving: experience, spiritual development, contacts, personal development, seeing a good impact of your work, friendship, relationship, good feeling that the work which I do as a volunteer has a sense, use my free time effectively and I can help other people.

  1.  Why does your organization exist?

To support volunteering (training: Cagliero- training and sending volunteers  abroad,  education of social workers, cooperation of volunteers from specialized teams (team for public relations, euro team, development and missionary team), materials for volunteers

SADBA – this organisation exists because of its main job description which is education of volunteer and next workers (thanks to these people SADBA helps not only to children but to volunteers too in their personally development), connection of Salesian’s activities for children and youth in Czech Republic and national and international activities

-          Short-term cooperation – volunteers cooperate only for short time.

-          Working in teams - volunteers are part of special groups in SADBA

-          International volunteers – One intensive year in abroad.

Many of young people try all these groups. Usually is way of volunteering – short-term cooperation – long-term cooperation, working tin teams – international volunteering – long-term cooperation.

Yes, there is law about volunteering within our organization and founding documents within our organization. But there are gaps in the law.
